Our Founder
Naraa was founded by Fatima, a high school student passionate about healthcare, research, and community service. After witnessing the challenges faced by domestic workers and foreign laborers in Qatar, she wanted to create an initiative that addressed a basic but often overlooked need: access to clear vision.
What began with a focus on affordable eyewear is growing into a broader commitment to health awareness, accessible healthcare education, and research into the needs of underserved communities.
Vision
We envision a future where every person in Qatar, regardless of background or income, can access the healthcare resources they need to live a healthy, safe, and dignified life.
As Naraa grows, we hope to expand beyond eyewear to promote accessible healthcare knowledge, support community-driven research, and build partnerships that address overlooked health needs.
Mission
Naraa’s mission is to improve access to vision care and promote health equity among underserved communities in Qatar. We provide free or affordable prescription glasses while raising health awareness, expanding access to reliable healthcare knowledge, building community partnerships, and creating opportunities for research into overlooked healthcare needs. Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and help ensure that access to essential healthcare is not limited by income or circumstance.
